Richard Jolly MD
Richard Jolly MD was born and raised in Davis, Oklahoma. He did his undergraduate training at Duke University and then received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. After medical school he completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at University of Texas, where he also completed his residency as chief resident of the Ophthalmology department.
Dr. Jolly came to Gainesville, Texas in July of 2005 where he opened his practice North Texas Vision Center. He has hospital privileges at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, and Baylor Surgicare in Denton. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Jolly is a husband and father of seven children. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, Catholic Medical Association, Texas Ophthalmology Association, Knights of Columbus and Cooke County Medical Society.
Dr. Lana Hess
Dr. Hess joined our practice in July 2016. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M. She earned her degree in Optometry from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Dr. Hess enjoys spending time with
her husband and sharing their love of the outdoors and traveling. We are excited to have her caring spirit and fresh knowledge of the latest techniques and products in the optometric field. Dr. Hess is now accepting new patients of all ages and has extended
her hours on Mondays and Thursdays until 7pm.
